The World Weekly talks to Tom Fletcher, the UK’s youngest ambassador for two centuries, about his new book, life inside Number 10 Downing Street and 21st century statecraft.

Tom Fletcher was over 5,000 kilometres from The World Weekly’s London headquarters when we arranged to talk so our only option, fittingly, was to do so online. After several failed attempts our Skype call connects and an image of Mr. Fletcher posing next to a sports car fills my screen - a reminder that this is not your average diplomat.
